Leia Hallett is our Communications Intern! She is currently entering her third year at California State University, Long Beach, where she is pursuing a degree in Communications with a minor in Political Science. Through her studies, Leia has developed a passion for advocacy, communication, and supporting others. After graduation, she plans to attend law school and hopes to build a career focused on helping those in need and creating meaningful change.

Leia has been around Operation Surf for many years and has developed a strong passion for helping disabled veterans after her father was a past participant. She has seen the good that this organization does and is keen on the opportunity to give back to a non-profit that has personally impacted her family for the better. She is excited to be part of a team that combines her passion for veterans, service, and the outdoors while contributing to a cause that makes a lasting impact.
