Fundraising Intern
Bridget is originally from Boulder, Colorado where she lived for 18 years and fell in love with snowboarding, hiking, and all things outdoors. She graduated from Cal Poly in June of 2023 after pursuing a degree in Kinesiology and Sport Science studies. After graduation, she did social media for a company in Colorado before taking it remote and returning to the Central Coast to intern for Operation Surf. Through her Kinesiology degree and sport psychology classes she found a passion for mental health work and advocacy and plans on pursuing a master’s degree in mental health counseling in the future. Between growing up in Colorado and moving to California five years ago, her passion for both mental health work and its application through outdoor therapy has grown immensely so Operation Surf was a perfect place to learn more.
Bridget found Operation Surf through friends and social media and knew it was worth returning to the Central Coast to support such an amazing organization that combines her love of mental health advocacy and using the outdoors as therapy. She is passionate about the mission and is stoked to be a part of the team!
