Operations Manager

Sierra joined the Operation Surf ‘Ohana in the Spring of 2020. Being a California native, she spent 9 years living on the Hawaiian Islands of Oahu and Maui. Her time on the islands plays an integral role in who she is today, as she wholeheartedly believes in the healing powers of the ocean; both mentally and physically.
Sierra graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a double major in Communication and Sociology, and has spent the last decade in career roles that have prepared her for success as the Operations Manager at Operation Surf. She brings a diverse background of sales, events, marketing, and human resources — as her previous position was on the Special Events team at the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, Maui.
Upon moving back to the mainland, Sierra sought a career opportunity that would truly make an impact on people’s lives, and which would allow her to serve her local community and those in need. Operation Surf’s values and mission were exactly what she was looking for. Sierra’s late Grandfather Chuck served as a Korea War Veteran in the Navy; as she is honored and humbled to be a part of the Operation Surf family.
Sierra currently lives in Morro Bay, CA with her husband Chris, son Barron, and golden-doodle Rosie.
