Ellie is an Communications Intern. She is currently a third-year at Cal Poly pursing a degree in Communications Studies with a minor in Music. After graduation, she hopes to work in Communications or Marketing with the World Surf League or with another company in the sports industry.

She is originally from Chicago, Illinois, but has had a passion for the ocean and surfing for as long as she can remember. Since moving to California three years ago, her time and energy is mostly centered around finding fun surf. Her experience working in the surf community (Endless Summer Surf Camp) led her to decide she wants to pursue a full-time career in the industry.

Ellie found Operation Surf from connections through Cal Poly and seeing local programs out in the water. She is passionate about helping others and is stoked to be apart of the Operation Surf team.
